WBCT provides a full service In and Out-gate for all containerized cargo types though the use of an intelligent gate system. This system utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) combined with RFID and Weigh In Motion (WIM) technology to capture data about the truck, container, and chassis.

The Yard operations department manages the safe and efficient receipt and delivery of cargo containers via truck traffic entering the terminal gate. In coordination with other terminal departments, the Yard operations department is responsible for allocating space and equipment needed to maintain terminal efficiency.
